The Holidays are fast approaching!

Hello Everyone...can you believe we have just 3 weeks left until we break for the Winter Holidays?  Of course that doesn't mean we slow down in Third Grade and as you can see, this is a busy and fun week for us.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.  Have a terrific week

Good Morning Everyone....Well can you believe there is just one more week until Thanksgiving Break.  Aside from Veterans Day, 4th Grade Music Program, and Fun Run Results Pep Rally, we have a busy week ahead.  Take a minute to look it over.  I hope everyone has an enjoyable Holiday with family and friends!

Hello Everyone...I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend and was able to get outside and take advantage of the nice weather.  I can't believe that we are in the last week of October and that Thanksgiving will be here before you know it.  We have a busy week ahead of us and here's what is in store for you children.

What math strategies can we use?

As we prepare for our first Math assessment of the year this Friday, I just wanted to point out the strategies we've learned and talked about during our first Nine Weeks period.  If you have a moment and would like to learn alittle more about each of the strategies, please open up the Math Resources page on the tool bar above for a more detailed explanation of each strategy.  Also, I remind the children all the time to use the strategies that work best for them to help solve a problem.  If you have any question, please let me know.

A Look Ahead...

Good Morning...I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!  I can't believe that this is the last full week of October (where has it gone?).  As you can see, next week is going to be filled with many new and exciting things for our Third Graders.  If you have a chance, look over to the right and answer our survey question of the week.
